Product Care

Simone Prince Jewelry embodies modern luxury—crafted from the finest metals and stones, and perfected with multiple layers of genuine 14k or 18k gold plating.

Extend the life of your jewelry by following these simple steps below

Storage

  • Store in a cool, dry place—ideally in your
Simone Prince pouch or a jewelry box.
  • Keep jewelry pieces separate to prevent
    scratching or tangling.
  • Use an airtight container or zip-lock bag to reduce oxidation and tarnishing especially for silver pieces.
  • Consider using anti-tarnish strips or silica gel packets in your storage container to absorb excess moisture.
  • Store pieces separately in individual pouches or compartments to prevent damage, especially while traveling.

Care & Cleaning

  • Your jewelry should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off.
  • Take off your jewelry before sleep.
  • After each wear, gently wipe your jewelry with a soft, lint-free cloth—ideally your Simone Prince cloth—to remove surface oils, dirt, and sweat.
  • For deeper cleaning, use mild soap and lukewarm water. Gently scrub with a soft cloth or brush, rinse well, and pat dry.
  • Use ultrasonic cleaners cautiously—avoid using them on delicate, porous, or heat-sensitive stones like pearls, opals, turquoise, and emeralds.
  • Have your jewelry professionally cleaned and inspected every six months to ensure settings are secure and to remove deep-set grime.

Avoid

  • To preserve brilliance and protect the finish, avoid direct contact with water, perfumes, lotions, and sweat.
  • Do not expose jewelry to harsh chemicals such as perfumes, lotions, creams, soaps, hairsprays, or household cleaners.
  • Avoid wearing jewelry while swimming, working out, or showering.
  • Avoid abrasive polishes, hard chemicals, or cleaners that can scratch metal or dull gemstones.
  • Be cautious with tools—avoid excessive brushing or scrubbing, especially on soft-set stones or gold pieces.
  • Not all jewelry is suitable for ultrasonic or steam cleaning—consult a professional jeweler when in doubt.
